This blog was born out of a genuine love for those who are lost, weary and wandering. The saved.
It is for those who are wanting to know the Father. Wanting to know how to abide in His peace that was given.
Do you find yourself wondering ... "Oh yeah, Peace. Where did I put the Peace that the Father gave me? You open the closet door and you start moving things around. Stuff starts flying out of the closet. Then in your frustration, you yell out, "Has anyone seen my Peace?"

First my disclaimer---
I don't claim to know everything-- just that which is necessary.
I don't claim to do everything-- just that which is good.
"Follow me". Two words Jesus spoke to those who had been given to Him by the Father. You too have been given to Him. But do you find yourself saying to others, "Don't follow me-- I'm lost too!" A group of us were talking and found that statement to be funny. A joke of sorts with a very real underlying question.
Are you lost? Do you know of God but not God Himself? Are you confident in His love but shaky in your walk? Do you have questions but not answers? Do your questions even matter or are they simply diversions?
Let me explain the last question. It's like when you don't have answers to your questions, so instead of searching for the answer you just ask more and more questions. It is an endless process- a carrot on a stick, my friends. Purpose in your heart not to do it.

In 2 Peter 1:3, God says that everything has been given for you to live a holy life. Everything that has been given can be summed up in two words. Can you guess?
If your answer is Jesus Christ then, you are wrong. What! No way you might say. Jesus was the savior given. He is everything. Ok so that was a trick question. I said summed up in two words not a name.
Yes, Jesus Christ is the name but the answer I'm looking for is, the Holy Bible, which was given for the knowledge of Him.
You are probably wondering what in the world I'm talking about? Don't worry. Through the course of this journey you will ask that question many many times. LOL But seriously.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life for all that believe and follow. The Holy Bible was given for written instruction and the Holy Spirit given for internal instruction (leaving you protected on all fronts) for those who accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
What did He say to you personally? After He had been given. After He had been born, died, raised from he dead, seated at the right hand of the father. What did He say to you?
Do you know that the fullness of the living God has been so beautifully condensed into a book of explanation, instruction, and remembrance for you?
Your new heart will come alive like flowers in the springtime when His truth has been revealed through His word. Your ears will hear the sweet, sweet sound of the rhythm of His heart that beats eternally for you. Like a baby in the womb you will jump at the sound of His voice.

Let me ask you this question. Do you know where the things are that you've been given by God?
Do you know where Jesus is? Call out to Him and He will come to you.
Let me show you how to know the Father's heart for you.
God has given us two commands: to love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. So if you follow His commands, you will possess two powerful things: the love FOR God and the love OF God.
